The 14th edition of the European Film Festival will be held at National Film Corporation Cinema from August 16-21 in Colombo.
The festival will be opened on August 16 with the screening of 'Murina' by Antoneta Alamat Kusijanovic which won the Caméra d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival.
Award winning actor and screenwriter Nimmi Harasgama will grace the opening ceremony as the Chief Guest.
Public screenings will commence from August 17-21 at 3.30 pm and 6.00 pm.
The European Film Festival is presented by the European Union in Colombo and curated by Anomaa Rajakaruna.
