Colombo Int’l Theatre Festival at Elphinstone Theatre

The Colombo International Theatre Festival takes place at Elphinstone Theatre from 20 August after a gap of three years.

In its ninth year, the festival will have entries this time from India, Poland, Tunisia, Spain, Bangladesh and Romania, said chief organizer M. Safir.

Organized by Interact Art, it will have 13 monodrama entries, including six from Sri Lanka.

The festival will commence with ‘Untouched’, which won the best entry award at the Egypt International Theatre Festival 2021, with daily performances starting at 6.30 pm until 29 August.

The awards night takes place on 30 August.
