The 6th national security adviser level meeting of the Colombo Security Conclave (CSC) was hosted by Mauritius on 07 and 08 December.

Ajit Doval, Indian national security adviser, Anil Kumar Dip, commissioner of police of Mauritius and Sagala Ratnayaka, national security adviser and chief of staff to Sri Lanka’s president led their respective delegations.

Bangladesh and Seychelles participated as observer states.

The Secretariat of the Colombo Security Conclave was represented by Commodore Aruna Weerasinghe, acting secretary for CSC Secretariat.

Member states reviewed the activities of the CSC since the 5th NSA level meeting held in the Maldives in March 2022, and the 6th and 7th deputy NSA level meetings in India in July 2022 and Maldives in July 2023 respectively.

Member States adopted a roadmap for year 2024 covering deliverables for the Secretariat and various activities under the five pillars of cooperation.

Member States reaffirmed their commitment to engage in consistent joint efforts to achieve regional peace and security by focusing on the identified pillars of cooperation.

They further agreed to foster dialogue and collaboration among member states and with other regional countries to address shared security challenges and promote stability in the region.

It was agreed to hold the 7th NSA level meeting of the Colombo Security Conclave, in physical mode, in India, in 2024.
