It would not make sense for the United States to conduct an additional investigation into the Easter Sunday attacks in Sri Lanka, said the US State Department.
Christopher A. Landberg of the Bureau of Counterterrorism has said so in a letter to Sri Lankan ambassador Mahinda Samarasinghe dated 07 April 2022.
The Public Security Ministry shared content of the letter with MPs when it held a briefing yesterday (19) for them about the progress of investigations into the bombings in 2019.
