President Ranil Wickremesinghe and SLPP founder Basil Rajapaksa had yet another round of talks at the former’s official residence at Paget Road, Colombo yesterday afternoon (04).

Former minister Milinda Moragoda too, was present at the discussion that focused on May Day celebrations and the political situation.

Wickremesinghe rejected it when Rajapaksa again suggested that the general election should take place first.

According to sources at the President’s Office, the talks were cordial and helped in bilateral understanding in matters pertaining to future politics.
