Sri Lankan Dev Kawsala Samarajeewa’s entry has qualified to be among the final 12 entries at the ‘women in aviation multimedia engagement contest’ organized by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
These entries were open for public vote via ICAO’s official website and the entry with the highest likes, hearts etc. will be chosen as the winner.
As of now, Samarajeewa’s entry is in the lead with more than 27,000 votes as against his fellow competitors from France, Philippines, Argentina, USA, Turkey, Slovenia, Ireland, Serbia, Kenya, Canada and Seychelles.
The winner will receive an invitation and financial support to attend the Global Aviation Gender Summit scheduled to take place from 5 to 7 July, as well as a certificate of acknowledgement.
