A photographic exhibition titled ‘They Kahata’ will take place in Matale to bring about a sociopolitical policy dialogue on bettering the life of upcountry Tamils.

A team led by Lahiru Kithalagama is organizing the two-day event that starts on 11 August at Gandhi Hall.

The exhibition will display the daily life of tea workers as captured by youths from four estates in Nuwara Eliya and Badulla districts.

‘They Kahata’ was held previously too, at national, provincial and regional levels.

Upcountry Tamils complete 200 years since their arrival from India.
