President Ranil Wickremesinghe has written to Jaffna teenage girl Kilmisha Utyayaseelan, who has won the title of ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs’ season 03 hosted by the Indian TV channel Zee Tamil.
“Your remarkable talent and unwavering dedication have not only brought immense pride to yourself, but also to the city of Jaffna and to our beloved motherland, Sri Lanka,” the president said in his letter.
“At the young age of 14, you have demonstrated to the world the incredible power of passion and perseverance.”
“May your musical journey continue to flourish, serving as an inspiration for others to pursue their dreams with the same fervour and determination,” he wished her.
Soon after Kilmisha won the title, president Wickremesinghe telephoned and congratulated her.
