A Sri Lankan cultural festival to attract tourists mainly from Italy to the island opens in Milano tomorrow (28).
Festivities organized by the consulate and the Sri Lankan community in collaboration with the Milano municipal council will take place from 10.00 am to 8.00 pm for two days.
It will comprise dancing, drumming, singing, music, Sri Lankan cuisine, Ayurvedic healing etc.
Consul general Dilani Weerakoon said entrance is free and hoped it will appeal to tourists from neighbouring European countries as well.
