Hundreds of Tamil plantation workers marched from Maliyappu Junction to Hatton yesterday (29) to mark 200 years since their arrival from India.
They pointed out that they have been forced to live in inhumane and degrading conditions for generations.
The protestors demanded land and nationality rights, Journalists for Democracy - Sri Lanka reported.
