The garland makers, however, say that making and selling flower garlands has become a tough one in the midst of prevailing economic hardships.
"It's quite challenging to do business now. More often than not, we are unable to find flowers and twine on top of fuel shortages which makes it difficult to transport the flowers. We are struggling day in and day out just to make a living," a garland maker said.
